Earthlings

Post by Loki on Thu Apr 19, 2012 12:51 am

Who watched the aintree grand national? Anyone? Well I bet on two horses but neither won, so I lost the gamble. I love my horses and its tradition to watch the race in my family, it just is.
So I watched it on youtube and my yard friends said it was a brutal race this year. Dame... It was. A lot of horses went down. RIP to the two that were humanely put down on the track.
I scrolled down to see the comments and someone said that the race should be cancelled. I had mixed feeling about that, but I don't want to talk about it at the moment.
But someone posted a link to a documentary called 'earthlings'. I am NOT posting the video of it up and I will tell you that if you want to view it. Please take precautions and I'll tell you that I could not even get past the first ten minutes. Its not about horse racing. Its about 'earthlings'. And its about how we as 'life on earth' are all earthlings and that we are equal and so on. Its not for the faint-heart. Its an hour and thirty five minutes long. If you are strong enough to search it up and watch it on youtube, go ahead, then comeback and give me your thoughts...

What, what, what?! I didn't know that you liked horses, too! (Why didn't you say so?!) Sorry, my mind is still two weeks old...
